[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo on my way to Mt. Adams, a volcano in Washington State. I stopped alongside a creek to hike and came across this toad, I believe, and he or she just sat on his warm throne and watched my every movement without fleeing. I slowly approached his spot on Earth and was very careful not to cast a shadow across it, and as I studied its patterns I noticed the beautiful pattern and color of its eye.

Very nice head shot Steven with good detail, color and light. Well positioned in the frame with space front. I did a workshop to try & improve this great shot. TFS!
