I took a walk on my break from work today around the lake that sits on the outskirts of the town of Stevenson. There are many, many ducks and geese and water birds that live on the little island in the lake. These two ducks were just walking away from me when I captured this shot.
I loved the "blond" looking duck, I'd never seen one that color before, and thought they looked like a romantic couple gazing at the lovely view.
We've had 30+ days of rain and this dry moment was one I wanted to capture. |

Hi Lori, good to see you. What a cute pair - Mr Mallard and maybe half-breed Mrs Mallard. This is a lovely composition, good colours and details. And the pair do look romantic. TFS.

Summertime here, hot and sunny, so I'm not complaining:)))
