I don't know what kind of tree this is, possibly some kind of willow, given the nature of the branches?

I'm still waiting for some "real" sunshine, but loved the non-raining period I had to take this photo. The tree branches seems to be reaching for the sun too.

This week we're supposed to have some sun, but I do kind of like this moody misty scene.

The mood is definitely gray, but with a touch of promise about it.
Well chosen perspective with a good DOV.

Hi Lori
A nice 'moody' shot as you said, with very good composition and POV. The diagonal and horizontal lines add to the visual impact. The (almost) silhouetted tree shows loads of character.
DOF is good with nice detail shown and the exposure levels are good considering the wide spectrum of light and darkness.
