Male Amur Leopard named Fred at the Portland, Oregon Zoo. These leopards are critically endangered. There are thought to be only between 30-50 living in the wild throughout the world, and not many more in captivity. They have lost 80% of their habitat over the past century due mainly to deforestation.

I took this photo on a beautiful and clear sunny day. The shadowing on his face is some shadowing of the tree branches hanging over him.
