A very nice portrait on this Seaguull. Strong light, but you handled the exposure well. Good dtail in the white plumage. Nice vivid colors of red and yellows in the gull. I like the frame filling composition and tight crop here.

On my bike ride yesterday there were dozens of sea gulls lining the swiming area boundary float rope. I took a few pics, but my little 3x optical zoom just quite couldn't do the shot justice. It was intertaining to see these birds though. I have never seen that many around here before.

And you are so right... they are thieves when they can! Over here they love to steal the catch from the kids fishing, if they don't look after... hehehe!
