Took this shot at LUMS State Park in Delaware, very difficult to shoot because of its color and the surrounding trees, had a tendacy to blend with surroundings. Was pleased with this shot because I though I did a resoably good job of seperating it from its surroundings. Hope you like it, all comments welcomed.

Very lovely photo, I like the diagonal of the tree branch, and all the little details you've captured on the branch and the bird's feathers. I can almost touch his soft wings. Very nice "artistic" photo, would look lovely hanging in a museum. Well done, excellent work.

This is a lovely picture Gregory! Great composition, excellent details and nice POV. Your bird stands out very well on this out of focus background. You did a great job with the colors. TFS!

Hi Gregory,
Great capture. You've got great seperation here and I love the colour palette. Composition is great with the branches and bird tail radiating out from the bottom right corner of the frame. Great stuff.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Gregory
You correctly point out the fact that you did well to isolate this sparrow from its surroundings. He is rather photogenic this guy and you captured him very well.
I like the composition with the branch on the right forming a canopy over the bird. Colours are well saturated, exposure is spot-on, DOF is great with nice sharp details visible on the bird, and of course excellent BG.
Great work done. TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi Greg,
I bet it was difficult to seperate him the backround. He blends in well. You did an excellent job on it though. Very beautiful colors and detail in this little fellow. He is perfectly framed with the branches. Overall composition is superb. Nice work here.
