| This is from the Carolina Raptor Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. They take in raptors which have suffered injury at the hands of hunters, cars, etc, and re-hab them for a return to the wild if possible. If not, they are cared for at the Raptor Center. Some of them, obviously, are camera-hogs. |

Hi Michael,
Beautiful capture of the Common Screetch Owl. They do have the ear tuffs, this one, the tuffs are laying down.
Excellent shot and well done on the composition.

La pose de l'oiseau est parfaite et les détails sont bon.Par contre domage pour le manque de lumière naturelle qui aurai fait ressortir davantage les couleurs de l'oiseau.
