Common Grackle Quiscalus quiscula. The other two confusion species - the Boat-tailed and Great-tailed are not resident in the area where this photograph was taken. It's a nice shot, showing the iridescent colours well, and so nearly excellent (I won't state the obvious :)

Nice lively shot, Jorge.
Very good colours and details.
The bird's beak is covered by a twig.
Looks as if the bird is plucking something from the twig - that would be nice and very ok.
But as the twig is very much out of focus against the sharp beak, it seems to be an unwanted coincidence from a twig in the foreground.
Nevertheless, a nice, lively shot.

Nice photo of that bird. The focus is good. A little too in the center but it's ok. Here in Quebec it's a commun bird. We call it in French: Quiscale bronzé. Good work. Have a nice day.
