[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another picture of the infamous blue grey heron (see Grey Heron).


Technically better - much sharper, and the coloring is pretty accurate. But I like my "blue heron" better! I still puzzle over the different coloring in these two images (and others from the same series - they were taken within three shots of each other, and 20 seconds apart.

You have improved from your last shot. You did well. Sharper than the other one but a tad out of focus, looking at the eye. Maybe the shot was hand held. A tripod is very useful.

Excellent capture and I agree the blue one had more glamor, but this one is more correct. I like the image but would have prefered a little more space for him to walk into. Very well done,
