[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo in HAWK Mountain Sanctuary situated in northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Peregrine is a larg and impressiv falcon,
one of the fastes bird in the world. This is very old photo and it was taken with my old equipment- Nikon 90 and Tamron 80-200. Eyal

Eyal, excellent one
But the crop is a bit tight i think
Great catch, good pose

I imagine that the original slide is a real cracker, the scan of it does show that was sharp and detailed on screen here it looks as though we are viewing it through dirty glass.
this does not detract from the quality of the capture for what is a rare bird every where these days though in the UK they are making a bit of a come back especially in cities where we have a feral pigeon problem.

Ma nishma, Eyal ? Great posture, good specimen, I see this is here in the States but I think also in Middle East people were using it quite often in falconry acts ...
P.S. Bevakasha, I wish you were commenting on my photos more often too , your opinion would mean much to me ! Shalom !

Eyal, a wonderful capture of the peregrine falcon. I find it just a bit out of focus for high quality equipment. The falcon is the fastest bird of prey, capable of flying in a recorded stoop at 200 mph.
Well done on the shot.

Mike
Hope you don't mind, I did a workshop.

This is a beautiful capture, but it is a real pity about the shadow on the face. The sharpness and DOF is good.

Thanks for posting
