This is wonderful, Lesley. Not only technically perfect, but with a fantastic light. It could be a paiting, where the painter has put the maximum of his art to produce a perfect picture. A dreamshot for me, and a favorite.

Great shot! You've captured this one very well, your exposure is on the nail, and I really love the catchlight in ?his eye! The only slight flaw is the twig over his shoulder, but it's really only a marginal nit. Excellent capture :-D

Hi Lesley
You sure posted some excellent beauties while I was away, I would comment on each one if it was possible. This one is one of my favourites, do you have a picture of the red on the belly - I believe it is nearly impossible to see or shoot. These are beautiful birds and your rendition is great.
