[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Townsend, Tennessee is referred to as the "Peaceful Side of the Smokies". It truly was peaceful.

I took this picture at sunrise this past Sunday from the deck of a cabin in the Smoky Mountains.

I didn't do anything to the shot--just compressed the picture in order to upload it. I love the different colors and shadows the way they are, however I'm always looking for suggestions and tips! Enjoy!

Hello Traci,
A very nice image... In particular I like the lighting, which lends a special atmosphere to the scenery!
Well composed, with different layers in fading colours... Pleasant framing by the trees in front!
I'm not quite sure how, but composition could probably be improved if you can avoid coming so close to 50/50 division sky/land... Maybe crop a tad in the bottom?
