This is one of the white tigers that the famous duo Siegfried and Roy raised in Las Vegas. It was the end of the day, and he was clearly bored, so no action shots available!
He was on show in the entrance to the Mirage hotel. I do not know if this was the one that mauled Roy Horn a year or so ago. For those interested, a recent program featuring Roy as he struggles to recover indicated that he thought he had had a stroke on stage, and the tiger actually tried to pick him up by the scruff of his neck and drag him to safety, as it might do with a cub. Unfortunately, humans don't have the right neck structure for this to work too well!!
