[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The new babies are out and about down by the Mill Pond where I work. I wanted a photo of the new ones, but the mothers were quite protective. They headed the little ones off towards the water hissing at me the whole time.

There is a really good article by Jack Hope "The Geese That Came in From the Wild"on the Audubon Societies web site about the Geese problem in the United States.

Nice birds, Lori. Colors and sharpness are good but in my opinion, you cropped too much: the picture can be better if we can see the adult completly and with more room on the right. But I like the look of the little baby...!

this is such a sweet family photo, Mother seems to keep a watchful eye on you. Nice POV lovely natural setting.
