The desert of Arizona is not barren. There are beautiful wildflowers and cactus plants in the springtime. Unfortunately they are dependent upon winter rains and we had none this year.
But the various cactus plants will bloom. These were the first ones in my backyard this season. |

Hi Jane, excellent photo. DOF, POV, Focus and lighting perfect. It is incredible how nature can surprise one. When seeing the cactus, one can not imagine the beauty of its flowers. Well done and keep shootin!!

Another beautiful cactus flower in your gallery. Though the focus seems to be sharper on the cactus plant and not on the flowers.
