| Taking shots like this for me is hit or miss. Often when I'm on a hike, I'll just stop and look around at the beautiful vastness of the forest around me. I always take pictures, but most of the time pictures of this sort end up looking messy, cluttered, and complicated. This photo I thought turned out very well. It has a nice balance of light and dark, and the trees I think are spaced out enough that the picture isn't cluttered. This picture, similar to my last few posts, was taken during my hike on the Catoctin Hiking Trail in Gambrill State Park, near Frederick, Maryland. |
