[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The eyelash viper is found in neotropical zones, from South Mexico to Venezuela and Ecuador. They're arboreal, and can actually catch and eat it's prey while suspended in midair off a branch. They're called eyelash vipers because of a scale found over each eye, that looks like an eyelash. They're a poisonous snake, which transmits a hemotoxic venom, that can kill small animals within minutes.

This guy is on display at the South American exhibit in the Jacksonville Zoo.

Una foto muy buena de este animal bello. No reconozco la especie, posiblemente no exista en Perú, pero es venenosa!!
