Yet another landscape of the American Southwest.

I was allways fascinated how a barren and dry land like this is can be so rich in colours, shapes and lots of very interesting creatures.

This is a view toward St. Clair Mountain, a peak like many others in the rough area of Upper Sonoran Desert.
I took advantage of the sweet light of the rising sun. later in the day is way to hot and harsh to try some nice landscapes.

Hi Petru,
Lovely desert landscape, always interesting to see your captures from Arizona!
Beautiful sunrise colours in the distant mountain range... Well composed image with good colours!
Typical vegetation, adapted through millions of years to survive under harsh conditions...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Greenie will be forwarded! OK-

Hi Petru!
Western movie or Mars? As you wrote - it looks very dry. Great landscape with fantastic, warm colours. Even plants are almost red there. I like composition with mountains on horizon.

Hello Petru,
Lovely picture it is! I like the warm colors, and it all looks very natural. By the way I came on this site because my friend Mello knows you from KVR(music). So you are an artist in many ways.
Greetings

Hi Petru,
An excellent desert landscape. You have excellent colors across the entire tonal range. Excellent light and shadows nothing is to harsh.
Great detail and sense of depth.

Petru,

Good landscape pic that is well composed. TFS,
Sheriff

Hello Petru,

I hope you enjoyed visiting our American desert. It can be so spectacular in spring. I find this a nice sharp, richly saturated photo with wonderful colors. I really like the composition with the wonderful foreground plants. I do find the two underexposed areas a little distracting. I did a quick workshop to see if they could be modified or cropped out a little.

Thanks for sharing

Best greetings,
