I thought I would post some more images from my April trip back to my home state, California. The spring green and the oak trees of the Pacific Coast Range is a favorite memory and a special treat.

Not sure where Merin County is Evelynn, but that pic really reminds me of Hwy 58 east of Bakersfield near the top of the highway climb. Looks like a great area to explore!

I saw the thumbnail and I knew it was yours, Evelynn.
Maybe because I've been there. : P
Yes those oak-studded hills spell home to me too.
Beautiful scene with all levels of green and all kinds of diagonals.
I like the different layers of mountains from the foreground to the back.
The layers of clouds also add richness to this tapestry.
TFS. : )

Evelynn,

I like the composition and ligh shining on the hillside. The details and POV are also good. TFS,
Sheriff

Very good composition with a wooded sloping hill in the foreground. The trees in bloom on the upper slope look beautiful.
There is a great depth of view to this image and I find the sky very interesting.

Hi Evelynn,
Good composition of a beautiful landscape: I like the contrast of the fresh green and the darker trees on the upper right and dark sky above. Well done.

Why did you leave Evelynn. This is such a scenic area. Love the colours and composition. TFS Janice

Hi Evelynn, sorry for disapearing, but life has it's things I hope to be more cooperative, I loved all you pictures and I will try to keep posted all of them, but this one makes me wanna be there too. I won't tell you but already doing it to play around with shapening, because I think you have done it already, great picture.
Regards,
Nelson

Hello Evelynn,
Lovely diagonal composition with this colourful landscape!
Nice to see the path cutting through the scenery without doing much damage, more like a natural part of the place!
Greetings,
Pablo -
