Great shot ! Excellent sharpness and details, and nice POV. Colors and patterns on these feathers are so gorgeous. Your are very right when you say that the tight crop emphasizes the beauty of this bird - this is just wonderful ! Very well done !

This crop works really well. It does what you intended but also works well as an abstract shot. Beautiful colours and nice detail, nice work.
