[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Was out looking for a pack of coyotes that lives near my work when this flock announced its presence overhead. Small flocks of Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) are common around here and it is not unusual to see a dozen birds flying in formation. Formations this large are not the norm at this time of year and I wonder whether the very cold temperatures and near record snows in this area have precipitated a mid-winter search for open water.

Have they been to school to know what a V looks like. Well, us humans are not much better. We have been to school and we still dont know what queues look like :)

I like this composition and the note is good as well.

Very well done and thanks for posting.

Interesting picture. I wonder if the birds were taking lessons in formation flying.
