[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the hilltop mine at the base of Mount Sherman (14,063 feet). The mine sits at 12,900 feet and was opened in 1887. It was worked on and off until 1920 when it was closed. The small runoff pool in front of the mine was frozen this morning, but due to the purity of the water coming off of the peaks, you could see right through to the rocks below. More shots of the mine to come in the following days. Thanks for your feedback and honest commetns!

Hi Dan,
I like the photo, but I feel it is missing a focal point. I have the same problems with my photos, but a human likes to concentrate to a point of interest. I do like the wideness of this photo and depth. Maybe a little more sunlight would have given you more colors.
