[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken early one morning as the sun began to rise. We were hiking up Mount Bierstadt (14,060 feet) and we looked back at the way we came and saw this incredible scene. The fog was so thick that cold morning that we could barely see the sunrise. The effect made it look as though the mountains behind us were on fire. Thanks in advance for your comments!

Hi Dan!
This is a magnificent view! I really envy you for seeing this, and me not being there! The colour in the clouds and mountain is very nice, and the exposure looks good.
I was just thinking - maybe I would have moved the whole frame more up and to the right. To avoud the tree and the dark foreground, and zoomed in and captured more of the mountain range with the clouds?
