[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a large broad leaf plant that lines the readway to the Lyon Arboritum in the back of Manoa Valley on Oahu. Manoa is a warm and wet valley, eroded over the years by rains that just manage to make it over the ridge line of the Koolau Mts.

I do not know the plant species, so if anyone recognizes it please let me know.
