[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of my favorite spots to shoot from. This small waterfall is located at the base of Grays Peak (14,270 feet)(Center) and Torreys Peak (14,267 feet)(Right). This shot was taken in the evening right before sun down. The temperature was cold enough to drop a little snow (In mid-June). Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hi Dan,
Looks like a beautiful place. I once had a wash in a stream that ran straight off a glacier at about 15,000 feet, very refreshing :-) A nice shot, I like the effect of the 1/8 shutter speed on the water, not too misty and not frozen. I think it would be interesting to shoot just the water with some mountains at the top of the frame, no sky. Just a different view. Nice shot!
Cheers,
Adrian

I can see why you like this spot. I assume you are on a bridge of some sort?? It's a nice image with great depth of field. I think (just my personal opinion) even in dull, low light, the whites in a photo should be white. Yours are pretty good but a little on the gray side. I think for artistic impact of the image this one could be perked up just a little. I tried a workshop...however it is next to impossible to get some images to upload with accurate contrast. I find that very frustrating.

Also want to let you know that I am going out of town Thursday...for two weeks. I only mention this because there are so few landscape photographers on TN. You post a lot of pictures and I don't want you to think I am ignoring you!

Thanks for sharing

Hello Dan,
A very fine composition with this mountain stream!
Low point of view works well, I like the framing resulting in a dynamic composition with good lines!
And all days cannot possibly be bright days...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Dan,

This is just fantastic, you have captured water flow very well. The contrats is good and very sharp. An excellent composition. TFS

Hi Dan, I like it. I think the foreground could be a little brighter - perhaps use a graduated filter? It's an interesting composiiton. Well done.
