I just can't resist trying to get photos of this wonderful birds. They have babies in the nest now but you can't see them since they lay very flat in the nest.

Scientific name: Pandion haliaetus
Size: 21-24 1/2 in. long; wingspread 54-72 in
One of the most widely distributed birds in the world.
They do not breed until they are 3 years old.
Weight Males 2 lbs. 10 oz. to 3 lbs. 8 1/2 oz.;
Weight Females 2 lbs. 12 oz. to 4 lbs. 3 3/4 oz.
Flight Speed: 20 - 80 m.p.h.
