Intent on getting a bite... Cropped, ISO 400, RAW. It would seem the old Sigma 70-300 isn't as sharp as I would like- but for the price, it's okay. (maybe pilot error too).
Really a fun bird to watch and shoot.

J.J. well done on the capture. If you were not using the tripod it is one reason. Not bad in the focus. DOF comes in the focus picture as well. Looks to be a tight one as I'm scanning. Not much room given for DOF. F5.6 is a good starting point.

Pretty good JJ especially with all that so white snow. they certainly are a very photogenic little bird they seem to have fun being alive.
