Savage River

| I made this photo on a late evening hike along the Savage River in Denali National Park. I was introducing a couple of new friends to the wonders of Alaska, and this evening stroll seemed an appropriate way to do it. I took the image from a footbridge over the clear flowing water. It was hand held at about 1/8 second so I had to take a lot before I got an acceptably sharp image. Let me know what you think. |

Very, very well done! It seems actually like a Savage river... Good tittle. Alaska seems incredible place for special ligtning. Thanks for explanations. :-)
Hi David,
Looks like if been missing out on some of your beautiful photos, but then you've been gone for a while as well. Strange that this one is so underrated. The colors and movement in the water is just stunning. It almost looks like oil. I like your POV, not as common so very interesting. The rock in the top of the photo is a great focal point to return to. Well back to work, but I'm sure I be back to some of your other stunning photos.
TFS,
Niek
