Mammoth Hot Springs Lower Terraces #2
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here's a closer shot of the travertine terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs. Compared to yesterdays wider shot, the closer shot of the terraces on the bottom gives a better view of the terraces themselves, and makes for an easier exposure.
This is also an evening exposure.

Hi Mike,
Just made it in for the exposure. Excellent abstract scene and well done on the composition. Nicely done.

Hi Mike,
I like to look at this shot, I have heard of this terraces, but never saw them. I visited Pamukale 2 times, also a wonderful place.
So thanks for your impressive shot, bye

These formations are so amazing, Mike.
We have not been to Yellowstone since the kids were little. Time to go back. I really like the way you presented the terraces. The curves make a pretty and intriguing design. Great exposure and details with subtle, but interesting colors.

Hi Mike,
I have seen such pools in Turquey, but didn't know there were some in America too.
It looks very special and beautiful.
