[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Jaguars range from the southwestern U.S. and into South America.
Jaguars are usually a tawny cat, with a lighter underbelly and black rosettes. Melanistic jaguars are not very uncommon. have been noted throughout their range. It's a trait that causes their coat to be almost black. Though it's not a solid coat, they still carry their rosettes, but isn't usually easily seen without bright light.
Unlike most large cats they are very good at fishing and willing enter the water. They are ambush hunters who will wait on a treelimb to pounce on everything from capybara to armadillos. Also unlike most of ther cats instead of biting down on the jugular they tend to crush the skull. They are very heavy built for these reasons.

Hi Angyl,
Lovely shot of this beautiful cat. I've tried several times to photograph a Black Jaguar but never got any worthwhile results. A nice shot, good detail and natural colours. Shame about the log that looks as if it's touching his nose. Nice shot. I like your 3D art too :-)
