Hi Niek,
Adorable place.
Beautiful show.
Very well done.

Hi Niek
WOW, what a breathtaking view, what a magnificent shot, and what a long drop!! They say that when you fall over a cliff it is not the fall that matters so much, but the sudden stop at the bottom.
An awesome composition taking the eye on a journey starting at the small piece of foreground showing you were far too close to that edge, moving up to the foaming white water from the waterfall, ever further into the shot to discover the double rainbow (I suppose your dad Rein must just love this shot), down to the flowing waters at the bottom of the gorge, and exploring those cliff faces with the obviously enormous fir trees only once again to be reminded of the scale and enormity of this beautiful landscape. What a view.
The colours are well saturated, the details are remarkable showing incredible DOF, and the exposure was perfect.
Excellent work my friend and TFS.
Regards
Loot
Hi Niek,
Have you been away? Hope you had a great time. This is a wonderful view, I can almost hear the water. Great idea to frame the river to one side, and love the mini-rainbow in the haze of water. Excellent detail throughout and good colours, a nice piece of work.
One minor nit is the white object on the left hand side touching the rainbow, I can't work out what it is and just found it a little distracting. A minor point though, thanks for sharing this excellent view.
Regards,
Adrian

Hi Niek,
This point of view makes me dizzy here in my chair! No way I ever can take a photograph like this...
I like the composition, with the river in a fine diagonal position!
Greetings,

Welcome back, Niek. : )
What an awesome perspective, and the rainbows only add to the magic.
I love the spray and the narrow ribbon of rushing water, creating a lot of movement between the grand-scale canyon walls. Sharp details and rich colors. Very impressive.
Can't wait to see the rest of your Montana vacation shots. : )

Bonjour Niek
Wow! Wonderful shot, Niek. Great POV. Good sharpness and detail fore, mid and back! Does the Canon 350 have the A-DEP mode? I like it a lot. I love the richness of the river receding into the distance. Was that due to polarizer or were you using a ND filter too? How lucky to have the sun at your back to cause the rainbow. It is so hard while travelling to be at a particular site when the light is optimum.

Welcome back, Neik! As everyone has noticed the rainbow is wonderful. But I actually like the foreground rock in front of the water almost as much. It's a very rich photo with good detail. I hope you had lots of good experiences, too.

Wow! with the rainbow? The speed of the water is well captured and the ruggedness of the unsettled earth is clearly visible. I'd been there and that is why I could visualize this river. Good capture.
