I wanted to learn some about some animals from around the world and took a trip to the San Francisco Zoo.

Greater Kudu

From: South Africa

Greater kudu are one of the tallest and most striking antelopes. Males can weigh up to 700 pounds and are adorned with spectacular long, spiraling horns and a beard. Females are noticeably smaller and will only occasionally have small horns. They have a reddish-brown coat (grayer in adult males,) 6-10 white stripes on the flanks, a white marking between the eyes, white cheek spots and a mane that runs from the neck down the entire back. When fleeing, kudu raise their tails and roll them forward so the white underside of the tail becomes visible. Their large, sensitive ears and camouflage coloring help protect them from predators. If alarmed, they stand still and are difficult to spot. They are powerful swimmers and possess a keen sense of hearing.

That is a great portrait of the majestic kudu, Adam.
I love the POV of this one, and the details could not be sharper.

it's a great portrait of the "African ghost", pity about the tag in the ear. I like the tight crop.

Very nice Portrait. Excellent exposure, sharpness, detail, DOF, and a great BG.
Composed well, slightly off-center. Perhaps a bit tight right..
I did a WS to remove the evidence of man.
Very well done
PS - I did not see that you had already cloned in your WS..I posted it regardless..
Also, I would add that I personally prefer the light/color in the original posting best, but it's subjective of course :)
