Hurry up post- going back to the bed with a touch of the "Crud".
25 yard shot, 2x extender, handheld, ISO 800. Manual focus.
These are my favorite birds of spring, they herald the return of life- much as the Robins do. They sound wonderful in the deserts and fields. As a matter of fact, they are my favorite birds. Relates to my childhood and fond memories. Stories have been written about them by this 'ol coyote.
Enough for this go-round- to bed.
JJ

Good image JJ. Excellent detail at 25yards. Very well done

Hey, J.J. great shot. I still find it interesting that the meadowlark is up north U.S. Excelent capture.
IMO, Your best settings are up to ISO 400 beyond that setting the noise factor starts to make it's appearance.
I've been doing my homework on the EOS 20D as I'm looking to purchase one. You have a good machine.
