I found this cropped picture interesting because you can find different things if you analyse it carefully.

I personnaly found, human profiles and a dog !!!

Hi Stephan,

This is a nice rich photo. What it lacks is the gigantic scale. I'm not sure if it is even possible to show it short of somehow getting a person up there for comparison. They are huge. I think they are called "The Three Gossips" as they look like three pioneer ladies with their sun bonnets. I'll post a photo as a workshop of "Courthouse Towers" taken just around the corner. It may give a clue to the scale of the rock sculptures in Arches Park (It is among my very favorite US National Parks. Thanks for posting a sharp, well saturated photo. I like them off to the left. I think I may have cropped out the bit to the right.

I like the rocks a lot, Stephan. Great subject and color. Good exposure too. Like Evelynn, I would suggest cropping a bit from the rigth to remove that piece of rock, but leave them to the left.

Hi stephan,
The crop os interesting, but I prefer the original one you posted as a WS. As Evelynn mentioned, it brings out the size much better. But when you do crop it, as this photo I woudl suggest to crop out the one on the right as well. (or by cloning)

great shot, showing the rock formations. I'm not sure I would have cropepd the rocks on the rioght our, but cloned them out instead, leaving the blue sky as empty space to the right...

good capture and DOF with excellent exposure levels.

Looks like two lords and a lady standing at their balcony. Dog on the other side.

Hello there Stephan,

Thank you for posting this very nice picture. I am not totally sure about the crop and I think I prefer the original photo you posted as a ws. Anyway, I will be going to Utah in May 2007 and I would love to photograph these awesome rocks. Is it easy to find these rock-formations? Can you give me some directions?
