Brian, Welcome to Tn! You've done well with a difficult subject. This is commonly known as a Daddy Longlegs Spider in case you didn't know. Your white BG contrasts well with your subject. TFS

Brian, if Howard hadn't have said it was a Daddy Longlegs, I wouldn't have known. Good shot, and I agree, the background works. It didn't frighten me too much.............. (a little, though).

Hi Brian, this is not a spider. It is however and Arachnid. But it belongs to its own category called Opiliones. They are commonly reffered to as Daddy long legs or Harvestmen. Felipe, did a nice post on them here. Daddy Long Legs spider belongs to the family Pholcidae. I did a post on them here. Sorry enough of this...

It is a cracking shot showing nice details and contrasts nice against the wall.

good shot composition is good, somtimes these critters will run all day and to get a still shot takes patience
