What a beautiful butterfly!
I know that this Heliconius loves tropics, and from time to time it strays into USA, the southern parts (Texas, Florida). I didn't expect to go so far north, in Indiana!
Man, the climate is changing, it's true.

Hi Chris,
It must be fun to move to a new place, and have lots of new subjects to take photos of. Great POV and pose on this butterfly. I love its regal stance with its legs straight and its long proboscis right into the nectar.
Sharp details and beautiful colors and designs. Great composition.

I can't describe the beauty of this golden helicon in words! The colors are bright and natural and composition and POV look very good! The photo is pretty sharp and with great DOF! Very nice framing and signature! Outstanding job! TFS!

Hello Chris,
It seems that Indianapolis has got great species. This is a beautiful butterfly indeed. Colours and patterns are great. i like its delicate wing shape too. sharpness, pov and framing all are very nice. That flower is beautiful also. With a plain bg it's all great composition.
