[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Tern

I know I have posted a few Terns but I just get excited everytime I can catch one of these. I sit out at Manyee's Lake (Manyee a friend of mine on the Treknature forums) and practice trying to anticipate there movements. If anyone has ever shot one of these know there very fast and unpredicable. I love these little guys.

Excellent shot! Very sharp details and great exposure. I would have allowed the bird some breathing/flying space in the left, composition-wise. That's all. Well done & TFS!

Pieter

A fantastic shot, Adam!
I would be the first to vouch for the extreme speed and agility of these terns. They certainly do not give you time to react, with their unpredictable turns and sudden freefall into the water. All the more reason to congratulate you on this incredibly sharp capture of a tern in flight. Magnificent POV with the catchlight in the eye, the wings spread out, and the forked tail. Exposure is spot on as well.
Great job and TFS. : )

P. S. I saw a kingfisher at the lake today. First time!

Hi Adam,
Excellent capture, I've photographed Terns in England and as you say they are very fast and unpredictable. Beautiful birds in flight though. Great detail you've captured, good exposure and excellent colours. I think it is cropped just a little tight, a little more leading space in front of the bird would provide better balance I think.

Adrian

Hi, Adam.
Excellent quality for flight shot. Sharpness and exposure are just top. And like also composition and blue BG.

hi Adam,

all is perfect, sharpness, colour, contrast, BG, everithing.
