[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) festing on some nectar from a butterfly weed (Asclepias tuberosa). Many people plant different varieties of Asclepias in gardens to attract butterflies. I found this guy in a meadow I was driving past. The meadow was full of flowers and literally dancing with butterflies. I strolled through the flowers snapping pictures as I went. This swallowtail gave me the best pose.

Very nice and well composed picture Kirby. I really like the diagonal composition and the soft back ground colours work well with the pale colours of the butterfly. Great dof and plenty of details. - Well done.
