[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Swiftcurrent trail in Glacier National Park has some wonderful sights. This is one that didn't appear on my map. I was trying to get from the Swiftcurrent trail to another one and got lost. Just before I emerged on the Swiftcurrent trail again I happened by these falls.

PP: A noise filter, resize, frame, and slight unsharp mask (I was already at 190K).

P.S. I promised Jean Paul not to post any more moose shots before his hunting trip. I was getting him to eager!

hi Mike
Très belle prise de ce beau paysage . La composition, les couleurs ainsi que la netteté sont Réussies et très belle coupe entre ces lignes d'arbres.
Merci et au revoir....JP

Look at that blue sky Mike!
A pretty spot in the forest....even if you were lost :))
Nice composition with the trees on both sides of the waterfall.
The colour of the water looks fresh but cold.

Hi Mike,
Very short on time this morning.
Nice capture, thanks for posting.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Mike,
I'm not so sure about this photo. It all feels kinda strange to me.
Let me try to explain. It feels as if the vertical centerline in the bottom half is a high point and flows rappidly to both lower corners. Water on the left is flowing to the left, ground to the right is flowing to the right. Creating this pin cushion effect. It probably is an optical illusion caused by the wide angle and the way the water and gravel are positioned. The exposure is also kind of hars. The shadows left and bottom right are really black and the sky is really dark. The dry rock and the white wash are too bright.

Also a lower POV would probably be better since the FG is to small to impact the photo and the fall looks more like a rapid.

I hope I don't sound too harsh, but I've seen much better photos from you and I feel this scenery had more potential.

TFS,
Niek

PT :( out for the day.

Just a quick critique - at work...

like the shot very much. the detail is good
though main point of interest is too central and the light seems a little harsh making it more diffiucult no to loose some detail from the dead trees - they seem slightly overexposed, possibly glare?
