Hi David, I don't know the name of the butterfly, but it is a good shot of it. Nice and clear and you show off off the wing structure perfectly. Colours and composition are very eye pleasing too. Well done,

This is really excellent - black is difficult but this butterfly stands out beautifully against the pastel background. Great details and I like the diagonal lines of the branches in the background. Very nice framing!

Una bonita macro David, con agradable composición, presentando con buen foco y agudeza, no sólo la mariposa sino también las pequeñas flores que la soportan.
El fondo algo luminoso y confuso, perturba ligeramente la visión del insecto, pero es aceptable.
Atinado encuadre y presentación.

Hi David

This looks like Zebra Longwing (Heliconius charitonius), a very pretty butterfly. You have done a great job here. Well composed, good clear detail, tack sharp and nicely saturated colour. :-)
