This is a magnificent shot, really.
The exposure on the plumage is perfect, bringing out the roseate coloring from which the bird is named.
The pose is very original, showing the huge bill in an unusual POV.
The details throughout are excellent and quite amazing.

So you use the macro-lens for bird-photo.
It's a beautiful bird and you have captured well.
The bill is great in the spoon-shape. Lovely colours and good details. I like the POV and compos too.

Good return to TN, moan of your problems of health in your family and I am glad that you have exposed your works.
I like the first plane, the pose is very good and the details of the skin of the head and the pens are excellent. The only thing which it does not convince to me is the illumination and the colors, it does not shine like that live in my town, in the screen I see something it yellowish. Hernán Best regards

Me gusta el primer plano, la pose es muy buena y los detalles de la piel de la cabeza y las plumas son excelentes. Lo único que no me convence es la iluminación y los colores, no luce como los que habitan en mi pueblo, en la pantalla lo veo algo amarillento.

A very good job with an unusual subject.Well focused with good DOF and POV.Excellent clarity and detail.The colours are well saturated.There is almost 3 distinct parts to this bird,Head and bill,neck and body and you have captured all 3 flawlessly.TFS

Hi Scott,
Its plumage is similar to flamingo, but its bill is very different. This one is quite unique, spoon-shaped bill. Its neck and head are more like pelican. Very interesting bird and very nicely captured. Great sharpness, nice details, and neat.
