[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a popular cliff for climber in the upper-state near Lake-Placid. It offers a variety of ascensions with different levels of difficulty.

I used the polarized filter for bright colors (especially for the blue sky) and also to reduce glaring from the rock face.

PP: In RAW, cropped 10% and sharpen 15%, converted to JPEG and resize for posting.

There is nice color saturation here Patrick. I think the polarizer worked well on the rock face. I would like to see something more in the foreground to give a greater sense of scale and depth. Of course I rarely see these things through the viewfinder...only after the fact!

Hi Patrick

Splendid work with this enchanting scenery.
The usage of the polarizer is excellent here and gives such beautiful saturation to all the colors, making that sky complement everything else so beautifuly.
The composition is also very nice and the "chimney" is well visible :)

Belle lumière automnale sur ces rochers,luminosité se reflètant aussi sur les troncs des bouleaux ( c'est un de mes arbres préférés).

I have a similar place not far from where I live, not that I climb but a lot of guys do...
I love the atmosphere of autumn here, and the yellowish-red contrast the wonderful blue sky very well!
Nicely framed scenery, strong diagonal composition...
