Saw this moth, boy I wish I had a macro lense, instead I used my 300mm zoom lense on a tripod and did my best to get in close, lost some of the sharpness, but still managed to see his mint green eyes.

Hi Robert,

Nice shot, I like the pose and POV a lot, I think it looks like it is looking at you, I see you have lost a bit of the sharpness, I have the same trouble but will be getting a macro for next summer, the colours are really nice and I do like the green eyes. One thing though its not a Moth its a Butterfly, a Male Large White I think.
