A familiar site to Donna 'Captainsgirl'. Moss Glen Falls in Stowe Vermont, makes a drop of around 125 feet making this one of the largest drops in the state. Most of the cascades in this gorge are inaccessible, unless having a rappelling gear.
I used a polarizer and tripod. Overcast days or early mornings are the best here. Since some parts of the fall is inaccesible, the use of a zoom lens could be handy for close-ups.

Thanks to Niek who pointed out the wrong shutter speed of 30sec!!! Corrected to 1/6 sec.

Hello Patrick,
Beautiful waterfall! Perfect composition and beautiful light! This valley has to be real deep. Very picturesque...

Hi Patrick, this is very nicely done with good exposure throughout. I expect this isn't a high volume waterfall but your selection of f stop with the long exposure time (and with the polarizer) has made it look very decent.

Thanks, John

Hello Patrick,
A pleasant composition!
Great colours and details, I like the old vegetation surrounding the waterfall...
Good light and a fine sense of depth!

Hi Patrick

This is an incredible scene! It looks simply fantastic.
I really like the exposure here and the great sage of the long shutter speed.
Also the colors are charming and the composition with the side branches and leaves is excellent.
Another great work from you!
Bravo, TFS and have a great week

Hola Patrick, bello y lugar y magníficos detalles, buen pov. agradables efectos... saludos

Hi Patrick,
What a stunning photo of this very beautiful falls. The different stages of the falls are awesome. The use of the slow shutter speed is perfect and captured the flow perfectly. I might want to adjust you photo info, since the shutter speed wasn't 30 secs.
Great clarity and colors and a perfect exposure. It must have been difficult to control with such a difference is tones.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Patrick
beautiful waterfall , streaming among luxuriant folliage!
love the colours and you really mastered the shutter speed and aperture to give a beautiful silky aspect to the flowing water!

pedro

Hello Patrick! An incredible POV, and the DOF is too! This has to be one of the prettiest waterfalls on the continent, and haven't you made an awesome composition of it! All the colours are so true, and such a variety. Very well done, most impressive! Thank you, Linda
