Hi Dave,
Firstly and most importantly welcome back and great news. Now for your capture, great portrait with fantastic color and details, but your frame covers the tip of his bill slightly.
Welcome back again Rick

Hello Dave! So, that's where she went for the winter--I last saw her on my lilacs, ringing the branches for sap. Really good detail in your closeup, especially on the head and face! I often wish bird watching societies would post photos as good as these for identification. Well done! Thank you, Linda

Hi Dave,
First and foremost I am hoping Cai is doing well. You and your family have certainly endured some tough trials. Looks like you can really reach out and bring those small birds in close now. A very good closeup on this Yellow Bellied Sapsucker. The colors and detail look great. I am heading to Florida in a couple weeks, wish I had that 400mm range.
