Don't know what kind of antelope this is but I took this at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, in San Diego, CA last summer.
Antelopes belong to the bovine family, split-hoofed, some are horned, and generally have a social life (live in massive herds, groups, pairs or alone); there are over 30 genera with over 90 species. They are obviously herbivores, although some eat insects, small mammals and birds and have complex stomachs to ferment plant material. |
