Here's the final gull picture for a while. It was taken just after the Sideways Gull picture from yesterday. This is probably what most people think of when they think about gulls, soaring easily through the sky, then suddenly swooping toward the water to snatch some hapless fish from the drink. These gulls work hard, though. There are extended stretches of soaring, followed by lots of wing flapping to catch up with the ferry (and their lunch) again.
Minimal post-processing on this -- adjusted the levels a little in Photoshop, sharpened it, reduced dimensions and filesize, then uploaded it.
