After the Snow - 1
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Apart from showing that our storm window needs cleaning, this is a view of our neighbor's house after the snowstorm yesterday, which dropped thick, wet snow on us. The trees are very weighted down by the heavy snow - which has almost all melted off as temperatures rose again today. What may be interesting technically here was the use of a manual focus approach, which allowed me to try focusing at different distances so that both the window frame and the world outside are reasonably in focus. The bright light allowed me to stop down to a decent aperture to increase DOF. |

I have just critiqued Anna's (hummingbird24) beautiful snowy winter shot, and now I see yours, which is different, but beautiful too. Very nice. Christmas card and calendar material. Thanks Alan.

It look to me a little a list of a painting with the painting insid, the composition is very nice and yes I like it, very good job. Gr. Jaap
