[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I refrained from posting this photo until today so that I could dedicate this to all mothers out there. This particular photo captured my heart because one of the young goslings kept nipping at his/her mother's tail feathers, and by the third time, she turned around and verbally let the youngster have it. I managed to get the photo as she gave the gosling a what-for. I saw the humor, frustration, and pride as this family traveled across the lake - the humor more on my part as one youngster had no inclination to behave.

That youngster reminded me of all the things I've done during my childhood, including pushing a handicapped brother off the roof - with good intentions. He was afraid of heights and I honestly was trying to cure him (I was only ten!). Needless to say, I got caught (by a neighbor) and my parents, at times, probably wanted to kill me. Knowing how frustrating parenthood can be - and how joyful it can be (I'm told it does balance out), this photo is for all you wonderful mothers have take the time and patience to help youngsters grow. May you all be blessed -now and always.

Hi Kathy,
This is a cute family portrait! I didn't often have seen Canada goose babies! This is an appropriated picture with nice light on the water and POV. Your notes are touching and beautiful... Thanks!

yep, hard to be a parent. such a cute canada goose family! :-) they will have lots of work with their babies.

This is a wonderful image Kathy,. I will use it on Monday...we had a few good days eh?? And now the Pow-wow...but it is darker and looks like rain and there is some track meet...at EWU and all this goes on while the ducks, geese and such at Turnbull remain in their lifestyles....I cannot wait until you post the bear skull!

Hi Kathy.
You sure have a great image here to All Mothers, and excellent note too. You see We (My wife Lidia and Me) have a Handicapped child since She was born 30 years ago, and Lidia is doing a wonderful work in Her since then. I show her this photo and read the note to her, and She said Many thanks to You.

you did a wonderful image of these goslings
with their Mommy (and Daddy), fine POV,
i love the Panorama framing, very beautiful luminosity
of the image, excellent sharpness and details,

i love the one of the goslings that it is alone,
like if he or she was the leader of this wonderful family,
