What a wonderful way to celebrate your 800th anniversary! This is a wonderful shot. You've captured great detail in a nicely composed image. These guys are on my 'to do' list for this year. I only managed to snap a few shots of hummingbirds last year, just before they left south. Hopefully this year I'll be able to snap a few as good as yours. Excellent work and once again, congratulations !

Very nice hummer inflight to mark it with.
Love the birds beak fully inside this bright red flower, wings forward.
What flower is this BTW..I have some here, still don't know what to call em".

Wow, 800th upload!! That surely shows your enormous dedication to this site and to photography.
And, what a photo it is. The hover moment of the hummingbird is perfectly captured. The bright red flowers contrast pefectly against the clear blue sky. I love the way the light has reflected of the back of the bird and iluminated the green color of the feathers.

This is a beautiful composition in red and blue and with a beautiful little Hummingbird in action. Great focus on the eye and fine details. Very well done!

Wow, the BIG #800. There are only 3 other busy bodies that has crossed this amazing barrier on this site. So, at this moment, you are 1 of a very small, but exclusive group of members on TrekNature. The over 800's club (chuckle). Great stuff my friend and very well done. What makes this so praiseworthy is the fact that 99.99% of these photos are top quality material and not just any shots that was dumped onto the site just for the sake of posting another shot. Although you have been slightly less active recently there must be valid reasons for it, but I am convinced that we will still see lots and lots of your great stuff in the future.

Like this shot - caught in the act. Anna's Hummingbird doing what it does best, sucking nectar on the wing, and flawlessly presented by this frozen moment. Perfectly etched against the blue sky with pin-sharp details, catch light in the eye, lovely colours, spot-on exposure, and an excellent composition.

Congratulations on your 800th! It's a beautiful post. The details are outstanding, especially around the eye with just the right blur of the wings. The exposure is exceptional. I love the iridescent green and deep red colors. Beautiful blue sky background also.

Hi Manyee, Canon must use your shots for marketing their S3..S5 series cameras. but then it might affect their DSLR sales coz
you haven proven beyond any doubt that S3 IS can produce pics which can compete with or even outperform the best DSLR/lens combinations!!! Well done again!
